On The Spot Home Improvements was founded by Michael J DeMarco in 1987. The company began with 1 truck / 1 customer, and has now grown into a thriving full service company with over 20,000 services performed. We now operate out of our office/warehouse located at 24 Market St, Saddle Brook N.J. since 2006. We handle all aspects of home improvements – from small repairs to full renovations and additions.
We are a family operated company that is not afraid to put our name on the line. We believe in building a personal relationship with every customer that will last a lifetime.
We proudly serve all of Bergen County and the surrounding areas with 8 full time crews specializing in their trade. All of our field employees and project managers must meet extensive skill requirements and be at least OSHA 10 trained. We pride ourselves on being a family owned and operated business. The owner Michael does the estimating, Piera (Michael’s wife) does the bookkeeping and customer service, and their sons work on the website, clerical, SEO, and clean/manage the trucks.
Our goal is to do the best work we can do and have long lasting relationships with our customers. We still do projects for some of our very first customers and get most of our new business from referrals. Our main business is residential home improvements. Although, many of our jobs have been for Home Depot, Uncle Bobs Storage, Morgan Properties, Young and Associates, and Devereux foundation on the property maintenance side. We have also done work for multiple VFWs, houses of worship, and others. We have thousands of satisfied/repeat customers. When and if a customer has a complaint or concern, it gets addressed immediately by the owner, Michael.
It started out over sixty years ago, when a young man named Alfonso Mandara left his native Italy for something more and found himself in a mozzarella cheese factory in Brooklyn. After years of hard work and savings, In 1960, he signed a piece of paper that would change his life and our lives forever…the opening of his first pizzeria became the beginning of his favorite story and our family legacy.
Little did he know what he thought was already his American dream come true would soon far exceed anything he could have ever imagined. The hard work and drive he taught his sons along with encouragement and opportunity he gave them would grow into what has become our family business today.

I am a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in NY and NJ. I obtained my NY Real Estate License in 1995 while working in the Mortgage industry. I always had a passion for Real Estate and dabbled in it in my spare time while working full time for over 25 years in various Finance and Accounting roles in different industries. Working in the Consumer Product Goods industry I analyzed the costs for the factories and sales offices and in my last position before pursuing my real estate career full time I supported the expenses related to over 100 Offices in the U.S. for a big four accounting firm and strategized how best to cut costs without sacrificing quality and morale.
I grew up in Westchester County and obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Pace University and my MBA in Marketing from Iona College. Resided in Bergen County, NJ for several years and currently live in Rockland County. Love living and working in the Hudson Valley region because it has so much to offer.

Being a very active person, Dr. Joseph Damiani is always encountering some new injury, ache or pain threatening his lifestyle. Joe opened Skyline Physical Therapy located in Wyckoff, New Jersey because it was his only option. As previously mentioned, Joe’s vision was to build a facility which allows each patient to attain the life they truly deserve. In order to accomplish this, he could NOT PARTICIPATE in the existing physical therapy model. In the existing model, patients receive merely 15 minutes of the physical therapist’s attention before being handed off to someone else. The physical therapists are handcuffed by the high volume of patients and the patients are the ones making all the sacrifice…

Dr. Damiani is a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Prior to opening Skyline Physical Therapy, Joseph’s clinical experience with patients includes his time at two of the Nation’s Top Hospitals as Ranked by US News and World Report. The first being the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan where he was exposed to spine and orthopedic injuries in patients ranging from professional athletes to active adults. The second being Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in Los Angeles, where his specialty was joint and spine rehabilitation.
