The company’s idea was formed when Co-Founder, Jenny McCuiston, realized the demand for quality swim instruction after teaching swim lessons at a local swim club in the Summer of 2000. She became increasingly busy with customers, and her business grew steadily throughout the Summer. Then, in the Summer of 2004, Jenny decided to teach swim lessons at a nearby Country Club. Jenny, again, realized the great need for quality swim instruction as she regularly accumulated a waiting list and her clientele grew to record-breaking numbers for the club by Summer’s end.
So, with the help of her husband Chris, Co-Founder of Goldfish Swim School, they began researching the learn to swim industry in late 2004. They traveled the country learning from other swim school owners, traveled to several swim school conferences and began to develop their business plan. In early 2005, Jenny created the proprietary curriculum that they still use, and developed their rustic beach house decor, all from the kitchen of their home.
Goldfish Swim School was founded on the core belief that aquatic safety and skills are invaluable life lessons. At Goldfish, infants and children through 12 years of age learn to swim with a staff that is dedicated to top-quality swim instruction. Our state-of-the-art facility and swim programs allow us to teach children the necessary swim and safety skills year round. Classes take place indoors in a warm, welcoming environment with fun tropical décor and child-friendly features. With swim instruction as our main focus, we’re able to be a little more creative…and a whole lot better!

Christine Carey Lilore, Esq.
Ms. Lilore graduated from Lafayette College with a B.A. in Government & Law in 1983 and continued to attend law school at Boston University where she graduated with her J.D. in 1986.
She began her legal career as a clerk for the Honorable Birger M. Sween, J.S.C., in the Superior Court Bergen County and served in that capacity from 1986-1987. Ms. Lilore is admitted to practice law in the state of New Jersey, in both state and federal courts as well as being admitted to the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
Since 1987, Ms. Lilore has been in private practice specializing in civil litigation matters, including commercial and employment law. She has also extended her practice to include municipal, real estate and matrimonial matters.
She has been serving as the Municipal Prosecutor for the borough of Saddle River for 22 years, after being appointed in 1998. In this capacity, she represented the State of New Jersey in State v. Dominick, a reported New Jersey Superior Court decision on the issue of police search and seizure associated with motor vehicle stops. She represents numerous police officers individually as well as serving the Port Authority Police Benevolent Association as New Jersey Counsel.
Ms. Lilore’s extensive background in employment litigation, has spanned over 25 years, including matters of sexual harassment, discrimination on the basis of age, sex, national origin, ethnicity and sexual preference representing both plaintiffs and defendants.
Jessica Kishpaugh is a Certified Nutrition Health & Lifestyle Health
Coach, a speaker/trainer, an entrepreneur and a former attorney.
Jessica’s true passion is health and wellness. She became a Certified
Nutrition Health & Lifestyle Coach to help women create happier,
wholesome, balanced lives, and empower them to live a life of health
and freedom. She works with Moms recover from chronic overwhelm,
burnout, fatigue, weight gain, sleep and digestive issues. Jessica
offers private and group coaching and she leads workshops and
trainings on nutrition, family wellness, burnout, mindfulness and
relaxation, and self care. Jessica graduated from one of the top
nutrition health coaching schools, The Institute for Integrative
Nutrition, where she received one year of in-depth training in
nutrition and lifestyle coaching skills. She was trained in
innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management
techniques, and over 100 dietary theories, such as Ayurveda,
gluten-free, Paleo, raw, vegan, and macrobiotics.
Jessica is also currently studying to receive a second certification
in sports nutrition from Precision Nutrition. Jessica is a fitness
lover, a runner, a triathlete, completed 16 Half marathons and the NYC
Marathon. She uses her personal fitness experience to coach clients
in fitness and sports nutrition. She is also a Mom of toddler boy,
has a second baby boy on the way, and helps instill family wellness
and healthy living for busy families into her practice.
Jessica was a public interest attorney for the New York City
Department of Education for three years and was a former Assistant
District Attorney at the Bronx District Attorney’s Office for the
prior seven years. She obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from The
Catholic University of America and graduated cum laude. Jessica
obtained her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and
graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Communications and
Psychology and an Honors Research Thesis distinction.
